Levittown’s John Kane Scores In Run To The Brewery

On Jan. 18, 44-year-old Levittown resident John Kane finished the 10-mile Run to the Brewery in 34th place overall, and took 6th in the 40-44 age group. Kane crossed the finish line in 1 hour and 5 minutes, a pace of 6:35 minutes per mile. 

 

A total of 1085 runners were on hand for the 4th annual Sayville Running Company’s 10-mile run to the Blue Point Brewery—Long Island’s largest 10 mile race—held on the roads of Patchogue, Blue Point and Bayport. The Run was co-sponsored by the Blue Point Brewery, the Sayville Running Company, AirWeld, and All Round Foods. Race management was by the Greater Long Island Running Club, with GLIRC’s Ric DiVeglio serving as the Race Director.
